Lilly’s Paw Spa launching soon! A limited number of spa appointments will be available for non-resident clients.
Lilly’s Paw Spa is brand new, but the idea behind it has been there for a long time. In the last couple of years of Lilly’s life, keeping her clean and comfortable became so much harder than it should have been.
She needed more support, her skin became drier, and simple things like bathing just weren’t easy.
She was too big for the sink, we didn’t have a bath, the shower hose didn’t quite reach properly, and it was really difficult to get down to her level and support her safely. It often felt awkward and stressful for both of us, when all I wanted was for her to feel comfortable.
When we created the Paw Spa here, we kept all of this in mind. A warm, calm space where dogs can be supported properly, handled gently, and cared for in a way that feels unhurried. Always one to one. Never a rush.
Lilly’s Paw Spa has grown naturally from the dogs already in our care. When dogs stay with us, they settle in, build trust, and become completely at home here. Being bathed and gently tidied then becomes a familiar, relaxed experience not something new or overwhelming.
Everything we do is centred around your dog’s experience.
We adjust our handling, equipment, and drying techniques to suit each individual dog, helping them stay relaxed and comfortable throughout.
This might mean taking a little more time, changing how we dry or handle, or adapting what we do to what your dog is happy with.
We don’t rush, and we don’t push dogs beyond what feels manageable for them. The focus is always on a calm, positive experience they’re happy to return to.
Our priority is always the dogs staying with us. Care is worked into their stay so it feels like part of their normal routine, not a separate or stressful event. While one of us is in the spa, the other remains at home with our boarders, keeping everything settled and consistent. Whilst we are a service primarily for our boarders, we do offer a very limited number of appointments for outside clients who wish to have regular treatments with us.
Many of the dogs we care for visit us regularly, which means everything becomes more familiar over time.
That familiarity makes a real difference helping dogs feel more relaxed, more confident, and more comfortable with being handled and cared for.
Please note that any visiting dogs MUST have an up to date vaccination certificate and be treated regularly for fleas and worms. This helps to protect all dogs that visit Lilly's as diseases can linger in the environment for a long time.
Yes absolutely!
Lilly’s Paw Spa grew from the dogs who already stay with us, and that will always be our priority, we do welcome a small number of dogs who visit just for the spa experience, especially if they are in need of this service.
This tends to suit:
Dogs who are a good fit for a calm, home environment
Small to medium dogs
Older dogs or those needing a little extra support
Dogs who benefit from a quieter, one-to-one approach
If you’re unsure, you’re very welcome to get in touch and we can chat it through.
All services are bookable, whether your dog is staying with us as a boarder or visiting for an appointment.
