Familiarisation and Settling Package

Some dogs benefit from a little extra time to feel settled in a new home. Our Familiarisation & Settling Package offers a gentle, structured introduction to home boarding, allowing dogs to build confidence and familiarity before a longer stay.

What’s included:

Complimentary meet and greet
This is always the first step, allowing us to meet you and your dog, discuss routines and needs, and assess suitability and compatibility.

Three familiarisation visits
Each visit lasts up to 3 hours and mirrors a short stay in our home. Dogs are free to rest, observe, and settle at their own pace, without the pressure of staying overnight.
These sessions are calm and structured and are not high-energy daycare visits.

Overnight trial stay
A single overnight stay allows your dog to experience bedtime, overnight settling, and the morning routine in a calm, supported way. Drop off at 3pm, picking up the next morning by 11am.

Optional extra -  extended settling day
For dogs who would benefit from a longer daytime stay, an optional full-day familiarisation visit of up to 6 hours is available.
This provides additional settling time and reassurance before a longer booking.

Familiarisation & Settling Package: £135
Includes meet and greet, three familiarisation visits, and one overnight trial stay.

Optional extra - full-day familiarisation visit (up to 6 hours): £40

When is this needed?

This package is recommended for dogs who are sensitive, older, anxious, or new to home boarding, and may be required for longer stays to ensure a calm, positive experience.
